Mother Earth awakes.
The touch of morning light,
Like a feathery kiss on the cheek at dawn,
An awakening of gentle bliss.
She stirs at his caress
And a smile breaks the cold of the long night.
His warmth slowly embraces,
Tendrils of gold remind sweetly of what is to come.
From the dreamland she returns
Longing to meet the new day.
The shall walk the fields together.
They shall grow, make love, bring forth new life and finally
Rest again together.
For as it was in the beginning,
So shall it be for all time, without end.
Two halves of a whole, joined together,
Turning as The Wheel, forever.
